Stara Novalja

Diving in Stara Novalja offers a primarily rocky underwater landscape, with stone walls and thin grass. The visibility is usually good – about 30 m (98 ft). Sea life is quite abundant, with many different schools of fish, colorful corals and sponges, and other sea denizens. Macro shooting opportunities are great there. Divers should note there is a north wind called “bura” that can blow in late autumn and winter. The most popular dive sites of Stara Novalja are Sveti Onik, Triget Reef, Great Cavern, Double Reef and Pastura.
