When to go to Labin

The climate is Mediterranean and diving can be done all year round. The best time to dive is the period from May through September. In the winter the air temperature does not fall below 7-8C/44-46F and during the summer the air temperture is about 23C/73F. The water temperature: 11-24C/51-75F. The visibility varies from 10m to 30m/32-98ft. Generally there are no currents. What to see A variety of fish including tuna, swordfish, several kinds of mackerels, multiple gobies, scorpion fish, and other species can be found here.

Scuba diving in Labin

Labin is located in the Eastern part of Istrian peninsula. It is only 3km/1.8mi away from the sea and its beaches are mostly gravel. Labin offers plenty of tourist attractions. With its shady beaches and a wide choice of water sports such as surfing, scuba diving or fishing Labin is a great vacation spot. There are plenty of things to do for divers who come here. Near Labin in Rabac and around Sv.Marina there are several shipwrecks, reefs, caves and tunnels to explore.
