How to get to the Biograd na Moru
Biograd is situated on the coast of the Pašman (pronounced Pashman) Strait in the Adriatic Sea. The Biograd area offers divers numerous reefs overgrown with coral formations that are home to many species of fish and plants. Sea life is rich here, with opportunity to see rays on sandy bottom, cat and dog sharks, lobsters, sea slugs, sponges, red and yellow gorgonians, nudibranchs, white coral, etc. Wreck diving is highly recommended in Biograd. Among the best Biograd dive sites are: Baron Gautsch - a cargo ferry that was sunk in 1914; Francesca da Rimini - an Italian warship sunk in 1944; and remains of 1st-century Roman amphorae.
