Scuba diving in Crau de Nao


The dive site is located off Nice and features rock formations, a wall and some wreckage of a boat. The marine life includes posidonias, barracudas, fork beards, sun fish, and several rays. Diving at this site is recommended for divers of all levels of experience.
When to go
The best time for diving Crau de Nao is from May to November. The average water temperature stays over 20C/68F from late May to mid November and visibility ranges between 15-30m/49-98ft. The average depth of the site is 30m/98ft while the maximum is 50m/164ft. Currents are low.
