Instructors & Dive masters	The Summer-Salt Dive Center is running by underwater nature lover, Céline and Michael from France. Our patient, outgoing and knowledgeable Dive-Masters and SCUBA-Instructors are enhanced with a courteous and helpful team at the reception and on the boat. Most of them are with us several years! Multicultural is the least you can call us since we permanently guide and teach in English, Espanol and Francais ;-)!

PHYSICALlY DISABLED DIVERS	Even if there is little demand, we’re totally positive with Disabled Divers and open to exchange experiences and learn from each other! We’ve only made great experiences with physically disabled divers who are usually much more able than most divers in the water!
Equipment Description	For those who need to be equipped, we rent regularly maintained and recent Mares, Scubapro and Sherwood BCD’s and Regulators with octopus and depth-/pressure-gauge. For your protection, we provide you with full length, 3mm wetsuits. Weight belts and weights as well as 80 cft/12 l Aluminum Tanks with Int. connections are included in our prices.
Distance to nearest Deco Chamber	250 km
Transport	We operate with 2 power-boats for fast and convenient access to all dive sites in the Gulf of Papagayo. The “Calahonda” is a 21ft/7m boat with an Evinrude E-Tec 225hp engine for up to 6 divers plus 1 to 2 guides. The “Voltareta” is a 24ft/8m boat with a Suzuki 4-Stroke 300hp engine for up to 8 divers with 2 guides.

Read before you go

Check-in time	We require to come say hello at least the day before the excursion to complete all the paperwork, check your certification and fit your gear. Our opening times are from 7a.m. to 6p.m. and we’re located on the main street of Playas del Coco.

From recommended hotels to dive center	Surcharge
For an extra cost we can provide transfers from and to the beach of your hotel if located outside of Playas del Coco. The cost depends on the distance. We’ll be happy to indicate the cost as soon as we know where to pick you up ;-D!
