Big Fish Country is located east of Kalimantah in Indonesia. Divers come here to see the large pelagic species. This dive site features drift diving as well as deep diving and muck diving in the channels. The topography includes a slope, drop-off, coral reef, and interestingly shaped rocks.

When To Go Diving

It is possible to dive at Big Fish Country year-round, but the best time is from March to October. January and February have more rain and wind. The average air temperature is 28C/82F, while the average water temperature is 27-30C/81-86F.

What to see

Big Fish Country is known for large inhabitants like manta rays, leopard sharks, hammerhead sharks, barracudas, tuna, and sea turtles. Other creatures include lobsters, parrotfish, surgeonfish, crabs, octopi, and colorful anemones.
