Belize City

Belize City is located on a small mainland peninsula that provides convenient access to many of the barrier reef islands that serve as the focus of diving in Belize, including the Turneffe Islands, Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker. Here, divers may explore hard corals, gorgonians, sea fans and enjoy a variety of fish species, including angelfish and barracudas, large stingrays, manta rays and spotted eagle rays, and the seasonal whale sharks.
