South Bimini

Bimini Islands are located in the northern part of the Great Bahama Bank. These islands are the closest ones to the USA – only a 62mi/100km from Miami. Bimini Islands dive sites include opportunities for both shallow and deep diving. Novice divers might be interested in shore diving among coral reefs and some wrecks lying in the shallows, while more experienced divers would enjoy multiple walls stretching deep inside Gulf Stream waters that run along the western side of the islands. Of the many interesting dive sites here, the best are: Tuna Alley and Victory Reef, stretching deep into the Straits of Florida, Sapona Wreck and Bimini Barge Wreck.
