Rasdhoo Madivaru is a dive site around Ari Atoll that features a healthy reef full of caverns and overhangs. It also has a ridge that attracts a large number of hammerhead sharks.

When To Go Diving
It is possible to dive at Rasdhoo Madivaru year-round, but the most favorable conditions are from December to May. The average water temperature is 27-28C/81-82F, and the air is usually around 29-31C/84-88F.
What to see
In addition to huge sharks, Rasdhoo Madivaru has eagle rays, tuna, barracudas, mackerel, and grouper. The smaller fish are moray eels, midnight parrotfish, frogfish, and soldierfish. The colorful corals and sponges are full of bright nudibranchs, lobsters, and Christmas sea worms. Divers are more likely to see hammerhead sharks in the morning.
