Miyaru Thila is a dive site at North Malé Atoll, Maldives that is popular for its beautiful underwater landscape. It features a wall, overhang, channel, and pinnacle full of various species, colors and shapes. The currents here can get strong, so the overhang can be used as a shield.

When To Go Diving
It is possible to dive at Miyaru Thila all year round, but the period from December to May generally has better conditions. The rainy season is from June to November. November is also characterized by stronger currents and better visibility. The water remains warm at all times and averages 26-29C/79-84F, while the air is typically 26-29C/79-84F.
What to see
Miyaru Thila is known for its large group of sharks and magnificent eagle rays. Other species are porcupine fish, moray eels, kingfish, lionfish, barracudas, and butterflyfish. Occasionally huge manta rays swim past this dive site too.
