Dhevana Kandu is located at Felidhe Atoll in the Maldives. It has channels and a coral reef of 250m/820ft. Its numerous passages, overhangs, and caves are part of a protected ocean area. Drift diving is possible due to the rapidly changing currents.

When To Go Diving

It is possible to dive at Dhevana Kandu year-round, but it has two defined weather periods. The dry season is January to April, and the wet season is from May through November. The air temperature averages 28-30C/82-86F, and the water averages 26-29C/79-84F.

What to see

This dive site has many huge corals that are inhabited by lizardfish, parrotfish, angelfish, and eagle rays. It is a famous spot for whitetip sharks, snapper, gray reef sharks, barracudas, and large grunts.
