Lankan Manta Point is located off the southeast coast of North Malé Atoll, Maldives and divers come to see its beautiful reef and gentle underwater slopes. The underwater landscape has crevices, cracks, walls, and interestingly shaped corals.

When To Go Diving
Although it is possible to dive at Lankan Manta Point all year round, the months from December to May have better sea conditions. There is more rain from June to November. Currents become stronger starting in November, and bring more marine life. The average air temperature varies between 30-32C/86-90F, while the water tends to be around 26-29C/79-84F.
What to see
Just like the name implies, this dive site features numerous huge manta rays that have a cleaning station here. Other large species around Lankan Manta Point include whitetip sharks, hawksbill turtles, barracudas, humphead wrasses, and moray eels. In addition, there are myriads of small colorful fish, shrimp, octopi, sweetlips, and blue tangs.
