20 m vessel MV Chalalai. The rear of the boat has a spacious kitting up area. Dive gear can be cleaned, rinsed and stowed on the boat, no need to carry it up and down the beach. A large covered deck is the perfect place to relax before after and between dive and to enjoy our Thai buffet. 4 guests to 1 Dive Guide (max. 20 guests). 44 – 12 litre tanks. 2 x dive compressors. 220 volt ac power. 2 x oxygen kits + first aid station. It takes 2 hours to travel by minibus from Hat Yai to Pak Bara, from where there are ferries to Koh Lipe all year around.
There are no direct minibuses from the airport to Pak Bara Pier. Minibus from the Airport to the Train station in Hat Yai, then a minibus at one of the travel shops nearby.
The more expensive option is to take a private taxi from the airport to Pak Bara Pier.
