Mermaids is the most established Scuba Diving Center in the area and is the first dive center to be awarded the PADI CDC (Career Development Center) status in Pattaya. We have operated since early 1990 in Jomtien Beach, just South of Pattaya, Thailand.
Since the beginning we have focused on Scuba Diving education and courses, there through becoming the first in our area of Pattaya Thailand to be awarded with the 5 star PADI CDC (Career Development Center) status. | PHYSICALlY DISABLED DIVERS | Mermaid’s Dive facilities are renovated for handicapped persons. Mermaid’s works with an active wheel chair using instructor (Mark became an instructor in 2004 within Mermaid’s CDC Internship) building on the IAHD program allowing a very precise and accurate perspective on the sensitivities and special requirements of a handicapped diver. Mark, takes the experience over and above the perceived “simulation” experience. |
| Equipment Description | Mermaids are the ONLY facility in Pattaya to have both our own hydrostatic tank testing facility AND a 200 Bar oxygen and helium booster pump. Self contained 100%.
Mermaids is the ONLY dive training facility in Pattaya to have our own in-house Hydrostatic and Visual Tank Testing (including the new Visual Plus Electronic Testing Equipment) – this technology compliments the technical courses offered at Mermaids! We take our diving air very seriously. |
