Molasses Reef
The Molasses Reef is one of the most amazing complexes of spur and grove formations, hard and soft coral congregations and a diversity of sponges in Florida. It is located in Key Largo and attracts divers from all across the globe. Diving in the Molasses Reef consists of exploring several areas named after their peculiar features. Divers have opportunities to admire magnificently colorful scenery in Spanish Anchor Winch Hole, Hole in the Wall and Fire Coral Caves. When To Go Diving
Divers may experience the hot season from May to October with approximate air temperatures of 30-32C/86-89F and water temperatures of 28-30C/82-86F. The warm season lasts from November to April with average air and water temperatures of 15-17C/59-62F.
