The Sea Emperor is a former hopper barge sunk off the Pompano Beach. Its parts and details are chaotically scattered around in an upside down position. Diving in the Sea Emperor let divers explore concrete tubes, culverts and a bow. The second name of the site is Aqua Zoo due to multiple marine species inhabiting around. The site is great for underwater photography during diving.

What to see

Scuba-diving in the Sea Emperor/Aqua Zoo is interesting either for wreck-lovers, or nature-admirers. Local marine species include stingrays, groupers, turtles, nurse sharks and moray eels. Time also had its impact on the remains and they got covered with more and more coral layers every year.
