When To Go Diving

Diving in Shark Canyon is advisable from May to September. Approximate air and water temperatures during this period are of 28-31C/82-87F. Air temperatures reach 15-17C/59-62F from December to February and average water temperatures are of 14-16C/57-60F.

What to see

The name of the dive site obviously presumes the big amount of sharks in this area. Diving in Shark Canyon is presented by a big diversity of sharks, such as nurse, whale and reef sharks. Divers will also spot a variety of other underwater species. Marine life includes groupers, turtles, barracuda, manta rays, jacks, napoleon wrasse and spadefish.
