Devils Den is a unique and beautiful cavern dive site. Divers should be informed about the rules, that they must follow while diving this  underground spring. Divers can dive the site many times as it offers a lot to see on more than 30,000 feet of mapped cave area. It is a great dive site for underwater photography, as visibility here is fantastic.

 

When To Go Diving

Orlando is characterized by a humid subtropical climate. Diving is advisable during the wet and hot season, which lasts from May to October. In that period the average air temperatures are of 25-28C/77-82F and water - 26-29C/78-84F. Another season (late October through April) is dry and cool with average air temperature of 15-20C/59-68F and water temperature - of 23-27C/73-80F. 

What to see

Here divers will see some fish, among which is catfish, a turtle, and fossils embedded in the walls. It is recommended to have a flashlight to explore the crevices and some of tighter side caves, that are wired off for safety.
