When To Go Diving
Cancún has a tropical climate with steady air temperatures throughout the year, around 25-27C/77-80F. There is a distinct wet season from June to December. The best time to visit the area is from January to May. The water temperature is roughly 25C/77F year-round.
What to see
Scuba diving in Kantenah lets divers observe turtles, lionfish, surgeonfish, tangs, snappers, jacks, triggerfish, and occasionally stingrays. This site is also a good place to explore coral gardens.
