Diving at Cañones consists of swimming through various canyons covered in underwater plants and multiple corals. Explorers can also inspect the sandy bottom, which is full of tiny marine creatures.
When To Go Diving
Tulum has a tropical climate. The average air temperature is 28-33C/82-91F. December to May has the least rainfall. The water temperature is 25-27C/77-80F. August has the warmest water, around 29C/84F.
What to see
Cañones has many species, such as turtles, stingrays, nurse sharks, octopi, nudibranchs, and grouper. Occasionally divers may encounter lionfish.
