The Fesdhoo wreck is a sunken 30m/98ft- long ship southwest of Fesdhoo Island in North Ari Atoll, Maldives. The bow of the wreck is on the north near a small thila at 12m/39ft. Divers start exploring the wreck from the shallow areas.There is also an interestingly shaped thila close to this wreck, which can be seen even from the surface.
When To Go Diving
Although it is possible to dive at Fesdhu wreck throughout the year, the best period is from December to May. There is usually more rain and wind from June to November. The water temperature averages 26-29C/79-84F, while the air temperature is 28-30C/82-86F.
What to see
Fesdhu Wreck is completely covered by soft and hard corals. Fesdhu Wreck is full of moray eels, lionfish and Napoleon wrasse. It is a habitat of large eagle rays, white-tip sharks, barracudas and frogfish. The smaller fish include glassfish, anthias, butterflyfish, blennies and batfish.
