The Two Towers dive site, located off the northern side of the island of Thoddoo, Maldives, features a beautiful coral wall that goes down to a sandy sea bottom at a depth of around 30m/98ft. Due to the exposed location of this site, divers always experience some current here, but usually it is quite enjoyable drift diving, as the current mostly runs along the reef wall. While exploring the wall, divers will see a variety of small and big reef fish, possibly large pelagic species, and if they want to photograph some tiny marine creatures hiding on the wall, they are recommended to use a reef hook.

When To Go Diving

Divers can dive at this site throughout the year, but the best time is from December to May, when the water conditions are calmer. The water temperature averages 26-29C/79-84F throughout the year.

What to see

While diving at this site, divers will see colorful soft and hard corals, tiny nudibranchs, giant moray eels, stingrays, Napoleon wrasses, eagle rays, and sometimes whitetip reef sharks.
