Hole in the Wall
Hole in the Wall has many caves and chutes that cut through the reef. The largest, 9m/30ft wide tunnel, goes through the wall and drops down to 43m/140ft depth. Also in the shallows, there is a very interesting network of caves, canyons and tunnels (also known as ‘Swiss Cheese’) all filled with natural light. Good buoyancy control and deep diving experience are necessary to explore the hole and the swimthroughs.

Diving in Honduras is available all year round. The average water temperature varies from 27C/81F to 29C/84F.
What to see
This location offers a chance to explore numerous coral formations, huge canyons, dark caverns and rich marine life. Divers can spot silversides (often found hiding in a cave), big groupers, barracudas, spotted rays, hawksbill turtles, juvenile spotted drums, file fish, octopus, shoals of creole wrasses and many other fish.
