Turtle Town (also known as Five Caves, Five Graves, or Nahuna Point) is considered one of the best Maui diving spots. It consists of 2 fingers heading out to sea, the entry is rocky and may present a challenge if the surf is high. There are lots of caves, arches, ledges to swim through and a reef that serves as shelter to Hawaiian green sea turtle colony, affectionately called Turtle Town. The Bubble Cave is a must see dive. It is a great spot to scuba dive and snorkel. It makes an excellent night dive as well.

When To Go Diving

Diving is good all year round. The coldest months are January and February, though the average water temperature stays within 23C/73F - 28C/82F range.

What to see

There is an abundance of sea life, including coral heads, lots of white tip sharks and Hawaiian green sea turtles can be found inside the caves, together with eels, occasional spotted eagle rays, butterfly fish, puffers, trigger fish, frog fish, nudibranchs, octopi and some others species.
