Will’s Beach is a dive site that is best described as a sandy slope with big, soft coral formations and sea pens covering the reef. The site is popular with macro photographers due to its rich and abundant sea life. Will’s Beach is home to many species.
When To Go Diving
The best diving conditions at Will’s Beach are from April to November during the dry season. Macro photographers may want to avoid the site during the wet season when the visibility is slightly lower. The average water temperature is 27-30C/81-86F. The air temperature varies from 26-28C/79-82F.
What to see
This site is full of skeleton shrimp, Tozeuma shrimp, Zanzibar shrimp, and flying gurnards. Blue-razor wrasses, snake eels, filefish, pufferfish, velvet ghost pipefish, and clownfish are some of the bigger creatures that can be found here. Occasionally the rare wonderpus can be spotted as well.
