Liveaboard diving in
La Francesa Reef
The outer edge of La Francesa site consists of small patch reef which lies parallel to the shore. The inside of the reef has a gradual sandy slope with numerous stingrays hiding in the sand. This site is a great place for underwater photography.
When To Go Diving
The average yearly water temperature varies from 26C/78F to 29C/84F. December to April is the high diving season.
What to see
Here divers can expect to see diverse marine life, including a strip of colorful coral, multicolored sponges and gorgonians, schools of grunts, green morays, toadfish, turtles, butterfly fish, barracudas, black groupers, lobsters and crabs. Southern stingrays, various mollusks and peacock flounders are to be found in the sandy section of the reef.
