Liveaboard diving in
Chun-Zumbul Reef
Drift
Cave
Chunzubul features the longest and shallowest dive in Playa Del Carmen. Divers are advised to begin this reef dive at the southern end and drift northwards. While on the dive, divers get a chance to see sections of garden-like vegetation with pretty coral overhangs that provide shelter for lemon rays, flounders, moray eels and shellfish. The most attractive part of this dive is the area with coral caverns. To get there divers need to stay on the fringe of the reef. The minimum depth of the site is 6m/20ft and maximum depth is around 12m/40ft. Average visibility is 20m/60ft.
When To Go Diving
