About Lesbos

Lesbos is a Greek island in the eastern part of the Aegean Sea, near the coast of Asia Minor. Diving is very popular in Lesbos thanks to the crystal clear water and a wide variety of marine life. Along the coast of Lesbos a diver can find many excellent dive sites with very good visibility. There are more than 10 dive sites, and some of the most popular are the Vatera Wreck (23-27m/75-88ft) and the St. Fokas Wreck (4-10m/13-32ft -ideal as a dive for beginners).

When to go to Lesbos

The best time for diving in Lesbos is from May to September, when the water temperature is 21-24C/69-75F and the air temperature is 26-31C/78-87F.
