Liveaboard diving in
Abu Galawa Sougaier
The Abu Galawa Sougaier dive site is a part of the Fury Shoal group in Hamata. The reef is divided into four different sectors here, each has some specific considerations. The structure is interesting, even for experienced divers. There is one must-dive spot: a reef block at the north of the reef. This area is special because of the wreck of a 17m/55ft-long American sailboat. There aren’t many corals on the hull because the synthetic material of the hull is not conducive to coral growth. The middle of the reef has a wonderful 14m/45ft reef garden.
When To Go Diving
