Liveaboard diving in
Sister Bank
Located northwest of the two Sister islands, the Sister Bank dive site features beautiful rock formations. At depths of 8-18m/26-59ft, divers will see huge granite boulders in a chaotic layout, which creates numerous overhangs, swim-throughs, and passages. Due to the exposed location, most of the dives here are nice drift dives. When swimming through underwater passages, divers are able to spot many sizes and forms of marine life.
When To Go Diving
Diving at the Sister Bank dive site is possible at any time of the year, because the tropical climate and pretty constant annual water temperature averaging 28C/82F provide comfortable conditions for year-round diving. However, the preferable time to dive at this dive site is from March to May and from October to early December when the seas are calmer.
What to see
Colorful nudibranchs, angelfish, snappers, trevallies, barracudas, reef sharks, and hawksbill turtles are some of the many wonderful marine creatures that can be seen at this dive site.
