Tiga Dara (also known as the Three Sisters) is located to the south of Padar Island. It has three huge rocks lying less than 10m/33ft away from each other. The seabed they sit on is sandy and about 25-30m/82-98ft from the surface. The peaks of the rocks can be reached at 3-5m/10-16ft of depth, what makes them good places for safety stops. The three "sister" rocks are blanketed in vibrant, soft corals and form a rich pool of sea life, including sea stars and frogfish. The dive can be more exciting if divers go searching for the fourth "unrecognized" sister rock that's located to the west of the "family". It lies at a more challenging 40m/131ft of depth, and its peak is 20m/66ft from the surface. This fourth rock is also known for the magnificent corals on its surface and the thriving marine life around. Due to occasional strong currents, the site is not recommended for novice divers.

When To Go Diving

September to January is the best time to dive at this site, when the visibility is the best, more than 30m/98ft. The temperature of the sea ranges from 20-25C/68-77F.

What to see
