*Due to the infrequent but strong currents, this dive is only suitable for very experienced divers. Western Rocky Island is made of limestone, and is one of the most spectacular diving areas in the Mergui Archipelago. It is not a monolith island, but rather a set of pinnacles that make for beautiful terrain. There is also a tunnel that adds adventure to this site. Aside from the interesting architecture of the dive, it also provides a reliable shelter for an abundance of sea creatures, including the unique frogfish.
