Located north of its twin sister, South Twin Island, the small North Twin Island became an object of divers' interest because of the undersea reef plateau whose top part is at a depth of 5-15m/16-49ft. Near the bottom of the reef big boulders go down to 40m/131ft deep, with the beautiful decorations of large sea fans and feather stars on the surface. Many species of fish can be encountered in this zone, including large ones such as the rarely seen leopard sharks.
