Lukovac is a tiny island, situated off the south coast of Korcula Island and southeast from the bigger neighboring island of Veli Prznjak. The dive site offers great wall diving opportunities and will be interesting for both novice and more experienced divers as the depth of the wall varies from 9m/30ft to 21m/69ft, and regardless of the depth, the abundance of marine life in surrounding waters will be of pleasant surprise.

When To Go Diving

Diving at Lucovac Island is possible all year round, however, better diving conditions are considered to be from May to September, as the water temperature during this period rises to 23-25C/73-77F.

What to see

By exploring many small crevices, nooks and crannies on the wall, divers will discover their many inhabitants, including colorful nudibranchs, crayfish, possibly octopi, moray eels, damselfish, groupers, bream and many other fish species.
