Fushifaru Giri
Fushifaru Giri, located on the East side of the Lhaviyani Atoll in Maldives, is a dive in a canal at the outer reef with many variations.The site is presented by gentle slopes, channel, reef, small caves and arches.The reef is covered with green coral trees, and in the corner between 8 and 15m/26-49F is a series of healthy corals not affected by the movement of storms.

Water temperatures averages around 26 to 29C/78 to 84F.
What to see
The coral formations are beautiful and in this area sweetlips, lobsters, eels, puffer fish, turtles can be found. Outside the reef drops down sharply and the steep wall is full of small caves and arches. The marine life is diverse: lots of schooling reef fish such as snapper, squirrelfish, soldierfish, fusiliers, unicorn fish, butterflyfish, grouper and between 18 and 25m/59-82ft gray reef sharks and eagle rays.
