Koh Bida Islands
Koh Bida Islands consists of two small islands (Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai) located close to the southern tip of Koh Phi Phi islands. These two beautiful islands provide a great chance of seeing turtles and sharks. Bida Nok, the larger of the two islands, offers vast range of corals and marine life, fantastic walls and reefs descending down to 28m/90ft deep. The south entry site is good for beginners, while the north entry - is more suitable for advanced divers. Unlike Koh Bida Nok, Koh Bida Nai has more boulders and fallen rocks make some interesting swimthoughs, as well as walls and caves. Also there is coral outcrop called Fantasy Reef, where divers cam explore staghorn garden and see leopard or black tip sharks.
When To Go Diving
Diving is better from 15th of October until the 15th of May. The average air temperature: 25C/77F to 33C/91F. The water temperature: 27C/81F to 30C/85F.
What to see
Blacktip Reef Sharks and Leopard sharks and many other big predator fish can be easily seen in these sites, as well as large shoals of glassfish, octopus, turtles, nudibranchs, seahorse and others.
