Jabang is located just south of the channel between Koh Rawi and Koh Adang. It is a large open water pinnacle with rocks coming up to 3m/9ft of the surface from the maximum depth of about 30m/98ft. The site with its many colors and superb macro life, is a paradise for underwater photographers. This site is suitable for both divers and snorkelers.

When To Go Diving

Diving is possible any time of the year. Best time for diving is from November until April. The sea temperature stays around 28C/82F all year long.

What to see

The scenery around the pinnacles is simply amazing (especially in the shallow water at the top of the reef) with some hard coral patches, barrel sponges, crinoids, gorgeous green tree corals, and a thick carpet of purple, red, pink and yellow soft corals covering granite rocks. Marine life includes lionfish, scorpionfish, porcupinefish, schools of snappers, stonefish, sea kraits and several types of moray eels. A bit deeper, a diverse selection of macro life can be seen including ornate ghost pipefish, cleaner pipefish, seahorses, crabs, nudibranchs and several types of shrimps.
