Liveaboard diving in
Green Rock
Located north of Koh Nang Yuan, Green Rock consists of several interesting rock formations with small caves, crevices, short tunnels, and swim-throughs worth exploring. There is an interesting night dive: the triggerfish secure themselves in the smaller crevices for the night and the parrotfish sleep in their cocoons while the nocturnal community comes to life.
When To Go Diving
Diving is available all year long, with the water temperature ranging from 25-29C/77-84F. The high season is from February to September.
What to see
Some of the marine species are grouper, blue-spotted stingrays, yellowmargin triggerfish (can be aggressive, especially if protecting their nests during the spawning season), parrotfish, and green and hawksbill turtles.
