Liveaboard diving in
Punta Glavina
The site is a steep cliff, that plummets vertically into the sea and continues straight down below the surface, teeming with marine life. Here are two beautiful walls that slope is provided first to a depth of 25m/82ft, and with a few strokes a diver will achieve the second wall that goes to a depth of 45m/147ft. There is a little underwater basin, with a maximum depth of 5m/16ft - ideal to explore while doing a safety stop. Underwater lamps are highly recommended to have, due to the conditions on site.
When To Go Diving
The soft Mediterranean climate allows to diving all year -round. The best time to go is the period from May to September when the average temperature ranges from 22-28C/71-82F.
What to see
Among the crags there is a variety of animal life, including schools of dentex fish, bream, colorful sea urchins, lots of little crabs and lobsters, snails, octopi, and plenty of invertebrates. Also a splendid backdrop of cavolinii sea fans, Antedon mediterranea feather -stars, gorgonians, sponges, and anemones will make the dive unforgettable.
