Trompeuse Rocks features granite rock formations and offers good diving for divers of all levels of experience. The average depth of the site is 22m/72ft. The water is warm and clearwith a light current.
When To Go Diving
The water temperature is around 28C/82F in March and 26C/78F in September. The air temperature ranges from 26C/79F to 30C/86F in the winter and from 23C/73F to 26C/78F in the summer.
What to see
The marine life is diverse and includes reef fish, schooling bat fish, giant moray eels, hump-head parrotfish, napoleon wrasses, turtles, anemones, Seychelles clownfish and skunk clownfish, schooling common big-eye snappers, schooling yellow snappers, octopus, reef sharks, stingrays, eagle rays, schooling pick-handle barracudas, lionfish, scorpion fish, schooling fusiliers, lobsters and groupers.
