The northernmost of the famous four Straits of Tiran reefs. Shipwreck Lara is a good reference point to start drift and blue-water dives along the northern and western walls of the reef. The main feature of diving and liveaboards these walls is the opportunity to see scalloped hammerhead sharks in July-September. The rest of the year divers can explore the southern and eastern sides, which are protected from waves and currents. Here they can see gorgonians and anemones, pelagic and reef marine life and “eel gardens”.

All year long. Water temperature ranges from 22 to 28C/76 to 82F.
