When to go to Mahdia

Diving in Mahdia is year-round, but the best time is from March to November. The climate is temperate, with mild, rainy winters and hot, dry summers. Air temperature averages around 16-35C/60-95F. Water temperature averages 16C/60F (January-March) and 25C/77F (July-September), with an average water visibility of 10-30m/32-98ft.

Scuba diving in Mahdia

Mahdia is located near Monastir and is considered Tunisia's best spot for underwater archaeological sites and wreck diving. There are dive sites here for complete beginners as well as advanced divers. The seabed has interesting rock formations, wrecks, walls and caves with diverse marine life.
