Scuba diving in Hyeres

Heyres offers lots of diving sites that are considered among the best in the country. Toulon-Hyères Airport is located there. Divers can explore drops, caves, walls, shipwrecks and various underwater fauna and flora. Many dives are marked for the use of divers of all levels, but the most interesting dives are often deeper than 40m/131ft and are recommended for more experienced divers. Marine life in the waters of Heyres includes barracudas, moray eels, groupers, conger eels, crayfish and snappers. Among the most popular dive sites are the Donator wreck, Escampobariou, La Tantine, Le Grec and Pointe de la Croix.
