Bimini Barge is a site for adventurous divers. The Bimini Barge is a sunken vessel that has transformed into an amazing artificial reef. The wreck is covered by layers of corals, sponges, and underwater flowers, which makes scuba diving at this site both interesting and dangerous as well.

When To Go Diving

Bimini is mostly visited during the winter months. The average temperature is 21-27C/69-80F in winter and 27-32C/80-89F in summer. The rainy season lasts from May to October. The water temperature is 22-25C/71-77F.

What to see

At Bimini Barge, divers can spot grouper, jacks, barracudas, and crabs. They can also see sharks if they take the risk of going over the ship’s remains through narrow passageways covered with fire corals.
