Lighthouse reef
Located to the east of Sangalaki Island, Lighthouse is a dive site that starts with a reef near a lighthouse. It features 2 small shipwrecks covered with soft corals and anemones. The bottom is sandy and full of giant clams.
When To Go Diving
Lighthouse is open for diving year-round. The rainy season is in January and February. The average air temperature is around 28C/82F, while the water temperature ranges between 28-30C/82-86F.
What to see
The variety of species at Lighthouse includes pygmy seahorses, parrotfish, scorpionfish, sweetlips, jawfish, clownfish, anemonefish, and gobies. Larger fish are grouper, ribbon eels, and snapper that swim past beautiful gorgonians, purple fans, and various types of corals.
