Kelifos Island is also called ‘Turtle Island’ because the shape of the island looks like a turtle. The dive features walls with many holes and gently sloping bottoms. There are several different dive sites, and divers will be impressed with the variety of marine life and the spectacular seabed at each one. Many diving centers provide diving courses here.

When To Go Diving

Scuba diving can be done here at any time of the year, although the best season for it is from April to October. The average water temperature is about 25C/77F in summer, and 15C/59F in winter.

What to see

Divers will enjoy this dive, because there is an opportunity to see the abundance of underwater fauna and flora in one dive: colorful corals and sponges, starfish, sea anemones, conger eels, morays, scorpionfish, octopi, seahorses, and many others.
