Shark Reef is a coral reef just off the Viti Levu coast at Pacific Harbour (Fiji), however this dive site is special because it has been protected from fishing boats within the Shark Reef Marine Reserve. You can dive here with about 8 different types of shark. Diving at this site is usually conducted as a feeding. There can be a lot of sharks at once, so you have to be prepare for it and strictly follow all the rules. Diving at Beqa Lagoon is for adrenaline lovers and you can be sure, it won't disappoint you.

When To Go Diving

Diving is possible all year round. Average water temperature is 25 - 29°C/77-84F. Bull sharks leave for mating season in November to early January.

What to see

Whitetip and blacktip reef shark, grey reef shark, silvertip shark, tawny nurse shark, sicklefin lemon shark, bull shark, tiger shark, large schools of giant trevally, rainbow runners and red snappers.
