Enderby site offers a splendid drift dive for experienced divers. However, strong currents and surges may make diving quite tricky and the site is not recommended for beginners. The underwater world is spectacular with a huge selection of reef fish, sea horses, grunts, pompanos and goatfish. Also, divers may encounter colonies of sea lions, sea turtles, barracudas and hammerhead sharks.

When To Go Diving

During the warm season, usually from December to March, the water temperature in the area ranges between 24C/75F and 26C/80F. During the cool season, April to November, the water temperature stays within 20-26C/68-78F range. The minimum depth at Enderby is 5m/16ft and the maximum is close to 30m/98ft. The visibility is usually between 5-25 m/16-82ft. Currents vary from medium to very strong.

What to see

Divers can expect to spot barracudas, sea lions, manta rays, sea turtles, dolphins, Hammerheads altogether with an enormous numbers of colorful reef fishes.
