The Catalina Island has something to offer for divers of all experience levels. This dive site presents a series of rocky outcrops, 2-8mi/3-12km from the shore. These islands are of volcanic and sedimentary nature and host a wide variety of marine life including the giant manta rays, stingrays, sharks, moray eels, barracudas, sea turtles, and a variety of tropical fish.

When To Go Diving

Diving is available year-round. The average air temperature is around 21-27C/70-81F. The average water temperature is around 20-24C/68-75F. The depth of the dive site is 20m/66 ft with the average water visibility of around 5-10m/16-32ft. Currents here are low ( < 1 knots).
