Montana Roja Reef
Montana Roja Reef is situated in Lanzarote, Canary Islands. This dive site is known for its reef with some overhangs which shelter groupers, octopus and scorpion fish. The sandy area is home to seahorses and is a good starting ground for novice divers. Diving is done from the shore. The underwater visibility is good, from 10m/33ft to 30m/98ft. The average depth is 12m/40ft. The maximum depth is 22m/72ft. There aren’t any currents. Diving in this area is available for divers of all experience levels.

The average air temperature is 21C/70F in January and 29C/84F in August. The water temperature ranges from 18C/64F in February to 23C/73F in September and October.
